Shanlinxi, the high mountain tea farms at an altitude of 1,600 - 1,800 meters above sea level, is located next to the Xitou Forest Reserve in Nantou County, Taiwan. Here, the tea trees are bathed with phytoncide, a natural mist emitted by the forest. The nourishing soil is composed of a mix layers of sandstone, shale, gravel, and red and yellow soils. This ideal environment produces tea with light floral and fresh alpine fir fragrances, accentuated with a sweet refreshing finish.
